About us

The“Klajumi”horse farm is a family-run organic farm and a breeding centre for Latvian horse breeds, situated right in the heart of the Daugava River bends. We have been awardedthe Green Certificate and the“Latvian Heritage” cultural mark, and we are proud to be part ofLatgale’s culinary heritage.

The farm is situated in one of the most scenic locations in Latvia – within the “Augšdaugava” protected landscape area and the “Daugavas loki” Nature Park, where nature still follows its own rhythm.

At “Klajumi”, horses are not just animals – they are part of our family. Horses of Latvian and Lithuanian breeds live in families, graze in vast meadows and meet guests every day, sharing their peace, strength and trust.

This is a place where schoolchildren get to know horses and country life, families create shared memories, but everyone can enjoy the hospitality of the Sēlija farmstead, its culinary heritage and the breathtaking landscapes of the Daugava River bends.

We believe that real people, real horses and real nature can create an experience that lingers in the memory long after you’ve returned home.

Enjoy the beauty of the Daugava River bends, feel the power of the horses’ presence and discover the real Latgale with us!

A warm welcome to Klajumi!

“Real people. Real horses. Real Latvia.”
