ABOUT US
Zanzibar has been running class trips for over 10 years and offers exciting active excursion programmes for classes to strengthen friendships and team building. Our engaging instructors will never let the students get bored, while the teachers will relax!
Adventure programmes
FUN FIGHTS 1st-3rd grade, 4h, 18 EUR/person
MOSQUE FOREST 3rd-5th grade, 4h, 18 EUR/person

Field trip programmes at your school
KA-BOOM! 1.3rd-3rd grade, 2 h, 360 EUR + transport
Creative Soap Workshop 1 h, EUR 7 per person + transport
Location. Adventure programmes take place in different locations in Ķekava municipality, depending on the programme – at Zanzibar campsite or forest base. All venues also have shelters in case of rain and to keep personal belongings dry.
Number of participants. We accept groups of 20-60 participants. Several classes can go together, as well as classes of different ages – let’s make friends!
Content. In all programmes, children and young people will work in different teams, engaging both bodies and minds. Based on team building exercises and active games, the programmes are designed to reinforce the understanding of teamwork, as tasks can only be done by the whole team and a team is only as strong as its weakest link.
Price. The prices include all activities with equipment, equipment management, picnic with sausages & marshmallows, tea, water, coffee for teachers. Free for teachers (up to 5 persons).

Programmes are in LATVIAN or ENGLISH (only for groups with participants from abroad).
Directions. Transportation to the venue of the programme is organised by the class. Please note that for some programmes the bus will have to travel a few km on dirt/gravel roads. All programmes can be reached from Riga by intercity bus, 2-3 km on foot.
