The “Rubeņi” recreation area offers various creative workshops:

Soap-making workshop

Using perfumed and essential oils, natural dyes, plants available in nature (depending on the season), the participant makes soap. Each participant has the opportunity to make a personalised soap tray.

Duration – 40 min – 1 h, price – EUR 6 per participant.

Workshop for making bath tablets, scrubs and soaps

Using various dry ingredients, fragrance oils and essential oils, natural dyes, naturally available herbs (depending on the season), with paper recipes, the participant makes a bath pill, body scrub, soap. Each participant has the opportunity to make a personalised soap tray.

Duration – 1.5 – 2 h, price – EUR 11 per participant.

Frame workshop

Taking into account that Stradu municipality can show off its tile mosaic environmental objects, which we have also participated in the creation of, we offer a wooden mosaic frame workshop. During the workshop. using wooden mosaic pieces. participants can make a unique picture frame. The participants can use pyrographs to personalise their work.

Duration – 40 min, price – EUR 5 per participant.

Pendant workshop

During the workshop, you can learn about plottering and firing techniques and create personalised acrylic and wooden pendants using pre-made blanks and designs, as well as making your own design combinations on the spot.

Duration 1 – 1,5 h, price – EUR 6 per participant.

Phone stand making workshop

During the workshop you can create a personalised phone holder using a burning technique, stencils and acrylic markers by artist J. Madernieks, and pieces of wooden mosaic.

Duration – 1 – 1,5 h, price – EUR 7 per participant.
