About the campsite
Ozolkalns Camping is located in the Gauja National Park and is geographically well placed for overnight boat or rafting trips on the Gauja. It is surrounded by forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and is also a good place to stay and a starting point for exploring Cēsis and the surrounding area. The campsite has 6 cosy small cottages and two larger houses with amenities and a kitchen – the Forest House with 10 beds and the Blueberry House with 12 beds. Each small chalet has two rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The cottages can accommodate 4-5 people. They are heated, all beds are made up, each guest has a set of towels, tea can be brewed in the hut, there is a barbecue, shared kitchen, free WiFi.

Sauna
Ozolkalns sauna on the banks of the Gauja River – a place to relax and regain your strength. It consists of a lounge, shower, WC and the sauna itself. Up to 8 people can relax comfortably in the sauna at the same time, but in summer, when it’s warm outside, you can also use the spacious terrace, where tables for up to 20 people can be set up. The sauna can be bathed with whisks, which can be bought on site in Ozolkalns.
Camping
There are several places to pitch tents in the area – a central large meadow where up to 30 tents can be pitched. The meadow is not divided into specific sectors for each individual overnight stay. It has a communal shelter, tables, several fireplaces and electricity. The price includes toilet and showers with hot water, use of the kitchen, drinking water, parking.
A little further from the centre of the campsite, in a quieter meadow in the forest, there is space for about 8 tents. There is a fire pit, a table with a shelter in the centre and a dry toilet next to it.
There are several other separate tent pitches on the banks of the Gauja river, which are smaller and suitable for 1-3 tents.
In total, the Ozolkalns campsite can accommodate around 150-200 people.
