The programme includes:

• Medieval weapons and armour, the story of knights, their origins, the Crusades, traditions that have survived from the Middle Ages to the present day;
• Visit to the torture chamber, story about the different tools of torture and the principles of punishment;
• Archery;
• Crossbow shooting;
• Mixed axe;
• Javelin throw;
• Minting money – (each pupil keeps a coin as a souvenir);
• Viewing, trying on and photographing replicas of medieval weapons and armour.

Prices: 7 EUR/pupil

Programme duration: ~ 2 hours

The programme includes:

• Picnic area for lunch breaks, barbecue, skewers;
• Medieval games: the class is divided into 2 or 4 teams who compete in a variety of authentic medieval games – popular children’s games from the 4th to the 15th century.
