We offer you to get to know the evidence of the recent past in the Zeltiņi Museum and to go on a hike from the Zeltiņi Museum to the former USSR nuclear missile base. This former top-secret military facility still holds a lot of unknown and interesting information.

Stories won’t help – you have to see this place for yourself. We recommend you bring a pocket battery.

The museum will give you the opportunity to travel back in time. Uniforms of different armies, a “red corner”, everyday objects tell about the recent Soviet and pre-Soviet life in Latvia. The school classroom – an eyewitness to the lives of pupils from different eras. For those who lived through those times – a chance to reminisce, for the younger generation – to see the world in a different light.
