The Ostas Street promenade or Ventmala has been created here, with several notable tourist attractions – the Livonian Order Castle, the excursion boat “Herzogs Jēkabs”, the monument to Kr.Valdemārs, the figurative flower bed “Marītes”, etc.

Since 2020.

Along the Venta, 14 buoys and buoys have been placed, which have now been given a second life – to tell the story of seafaring to those interested. Each buoy has an information plaque explaining the purpose of the buoy. Next to the Harbour Master’s Office at the entrance to the small fishing harbour is the “Lighthouse of Love “, an environmental object especially designed for newlyweds.

The new promenade on Ostas Street is also made attractive by specially designed lighting lanterns and pavements made of various types of attractive paving stones, including a clinker paving stone cycle path.
