4 km of walking trails, wooden footbridges, two viewing platforms in the lake and a bird-watching tower.

Zirgu sala is the largest of the 15 islands in Lake Liepāja.

The construction of the nature trail in 2018 cleaned up an area of 1.75 hectares. 1 950 square metres of beds have been created, planting a total of 14,600 grass and honey plants. A half-kilometre long walking path with crushed stone surface and wooden footbridges with two viewing platforms above the water level of the lake were also built. The nature trail has been supplemented with three outdoor fitness equipment, as well as rest areas with picnic tables with benches and rubbish bins, as well as fireplaces.

To inform and educate the visitors of the nature trail, three information boards about the natural values of Lake Liepāja, four warning signs and three signposts have been installed. A visitor counter has also been installed in the nature trail to measure how many people visit the trail on a daily basis.
