The Balkans Mountains Local Nature Park covers an area of about 20 hectares. The Balkan Mountains Nature Park is a scenically beautiful place with a distinct relief. The 3 guided nature trails reveal wooden sculptures, the most interesting natural objects, the different types of forests, high hills and steep slopes, animal caves and anthills. All 3 trails lead to a deep valley where, according to legend, a church sank.
Tired travellers can rest at picnic spots, build a fire, pitch a tent and greet the morning with the chirping of birds and a swim in the pond.
Active leisure: In summer, the park offers a bike rental, tennis court and equipment rental.
In winter, the nature park “Balkan Mountains” offers a cross-country skiing track for lovers of active leisure, with a 5 km long circuit through plains, hills and valleys. A 1.5 km long illuminated part of the track is accessible at night. Ski equipment rental is available.
