The Daugavpils Technical and Industrial Design Centre “Arsenal of Engineers” is the largest exhibition of motor vehicles in Latgale. It is a unique platform for retro machinery and applied design exhibitions, which is housed in the historic 19th century. the exhibition is housed in a historic building in the Daugavpils Fortress.
“The Arsenal of Engineers has four exhibition areas with a total area of 2,500 m2: industrial design history and special machinery, Soviet vehicles, motor vehicles and retro western cars. In total, the centre houses over 40 retro cars, more than 80 motorcycles and mopeds, a large number of accessories, cars and moto-models. A special place is dedicated to the industrial heritage of Daugavpils. Together, they tell the story of the development of technology and design in the region, Latvia and the world.
The main part of the exhibition is represented by attractions from private collections. The oldest of them date back to the 19th century.
