Small Stuff Miniature House – a miniature world and creative workshops in Riga

Small Stuff Miniature House in Riga invites you to discover an extraordinary world on a 1:12 scale, where everyday spaces, objects and stories have been transformed into meticulously crafted miniatures. Spread across two floors of the building, you can view a variety of creations, arranged in themed rooms, each with its own distinct atmosphere and style.

During your visit, you can not only view the miniatures and admire their intricate details, but also learn more about the materials, techniques and creative process involved in miniature art.

Small Stuff is a family-run social enterprise whose aim is to promote the art of miniatures in Latvia and to foster joy, imagination and development through sustainable, meaningful creativity.

🎒 Offer for school groups

For school groups, Small Stuff offers both a tour of the Miniature House exhibition and creative workshops, where pupils can learn more about the art of miniatures and try their hand at it themselves.

The offer is suitable for schoolchildren of all ages. It combines an introduction to art and design, creative thinking, attention to detail and hands-on activities.

Pupils explore the themed rooms of the Miniature House and various miniature scenes, seeing how familiar objects and environments look on a 1:12 scale.

During the tour, it is possible to focus on the details, the materials used and the various techniques employed to create the miniature world.

⏱️ Duration: approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on the group and the pace of the tour.

💶 Prices for pupils aged 7 to 18: €7 per person

Admission is free for the group leader in groups of 10 or more.

The creative workshop takes place in two parts.

In the first part, pupils are introduced to the art of miniatures – its scale, history, related professions and various examples of miniatures.

The second part involves a practical session, during which participants create their own small piece of work and gain hands-on experience of the process of making miniatures.

The workshop can be combined with a tour of the Miniature House exhibition. A 10% discount applies when booking the workshop alongside a visit.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For individual visitors and families

The Miniature House is also ideal for individual or family visits. Across the building’s two floors, you can take your time exploring the themed miniature rooms and scenes, looking out for interesting details and discovering various styles of miniature art.

Ticket prices:

  • adults – €10;
  • children up to and including 2 years of age – free;
  • pre-school children aged 3 to 6 – €6;
  • schoolchildren aged 7 to 18 and students – €7;
  • senior citizens – €7;
  • people with disabilities – €7.

A 15% discount applies to visits upon presentation of a “3+ Family Card”.
