ABOUT US
The People’s Front Department of the Latvian National Museum is a repository of historical evidence of Latvia’s recent times – a collection of unique objects and documents about the Latvian people’s efforts for independence at the end of the 20th century – the Third Awakening, which was driven by the Latvian People’s Front. The museum is a collection of documents, photographs and newsreels depicting the historical processes, events and participants of the Awakening. The museum exhibition is housed in the building where the People’s Front once operated, preserving the style of the 1980s-1990s.
