ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The museum was founded in 1991. Since 2004, the museum has been housed in a building built in the 1950s for a kindergarten, with an adjacent area of 0.2 hectares.

You don’t have to go to the Mediterranean to see the rich cultural heritage of the island of Malta. The Malta History Museum offers a unique historical heritage in the Rezekne region – tangible and intangible values created by previous generations and re-created by the times – through relevant collections, exhibitions and educational events.
