Laflora is one of the largest peat producers in Latvia and one of the largest employers in Jelgava Region. Peat from the Kaigi and Drabiņu peat bogs is processed in the Laflora production plant, producing peat products with high added value for use in horticulture. During the tour, you can learn all about the bogs and peat.

• Peat extraction in Drabiņi peat bog (types of peat extraction and extraction processes. The attraction has an observation tower. (40 km from Riga.) Duration
• Production workshop in Kaigu peat bog (it is possible to see further processing of extracted peat: sieving of peat into different fractions, production of substrates and packing lines. (50 km from Riga) Duration of the tour: ~40 minutes – 1 hour.
