The story of SierŠtelle cheese began in a beautiful, historic building with stories to tell, right next to the Ogre railway station – 12 Brīvības Street.

Ogre was renowned in the 19th century as a bathing and air resort. It is from the special cheese recipes of the Ogre bathing resort, combined with today’s modern technology, that the delicious and healthy SierŠtelle cheeses originated – today 28 different flavours of SierŠtelle cheese are available.

We offer you the freedom to enjoy one of these offers in our welcoming premises, while listening to interesting facts and stories about SierŠtelle cheese!

Eleven types of cheese – both sweet and salty, a warm fried cheese snack with homemade jam, three types of homemade sweet truffles, a cheesecake cream with peach sauce and a glass of lemonade.

Cheese tasting in SierŠtelle:

EUR 9 per pupil + EUR 45 per group for the guide/guided tour

50% discount for teachers and driver.

20 EUR/ per person + 45 EUR per group for the guide/guide narration
