The 18.4 metre high observation tower of Lake Ciecere offers the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque landscape of Lake Ciecere and the surrounding countryside. The tower is situated on an artificial embankment, making the total height 30 metres. A picnic area with wooden tables and benches is set up next to the tower. The tower is located approximately 6 km from Brocēni and 5 km from Saldus.

Lake Ciecere (277 ha) is located in the territories of the town of Brocēni and the parish of Ciecere. The lake is located in the subglacial furrow and is the most distinctive lake of its kind in Latvia – in places it resembles a river with high banks. The lake contains the Oak Island (14 ha), which is a Natura 2000 site, a nature reserve. The Ciecere River (51 km long) flows out of the lake, the largest tributary is the Mazupe (16 km).
