The park borders the Seaside Open-Air Museum and serves as an exhibition site for the museum’s exhibits – anchors. The park has a children’s playground, outdoor fitness equipment, rest and picnic areas, as well as a 240-metre-long “Jungle Trail” with sculptors’ works created during the traditional international wood sculpture symposium “The Art of Poplars”. The trail has several footbridges, suspension bridges, a turret and a 1.5 m high track leading from tree to tree.

Here you can also discover the different pavements – dolomite slabs, wooden paving, wood chips, bark, different types of cones, etc. The Seaside Open-Air Museum’s Little Boat runs through Jurmala Park.

Not far from the park’s Blue Flag Beach, at the highest point of Footbridge 5, there is a unique environmental object – a Latvian outline sign with benches and an access path to the platform.
