In May 2019, a new environmental attraction in Saldus was unveiled at the observation deck of Billu Hill – an impressively large sign “Saldus” with a special “u”. The environmental object is located in a place with one of the most beautiful views of Saldus – the Saldus Castle Hill and the Saldus Lake. The object is freely accessible to everyone – it is located on the P109 motorway (Jelgavas iela), and there is a large and convenient parking lot in front of it.
