“Izaugsmes Spots is an activity centre for children and young people in Ogre and Ikšķile, where they can learn various technical creativity skills and develop their personality. Our mission is to combine the important with the enjoyable – knowledge with fun and fun! We believe that every child, young person and even adult, regardless of age, talents and skills, can find interest in seemingly complex topics if they make learning an exciting game.

LEGO MOSAICA (Grades 1-4)
A mathematically creative activity. Using only 1×2 or 1×1 rectangles, pupils create their preferred sketch on a checkerboard, which they then reproduce with Lego bricks on the board. The finished Lego mosaic is painted, placed on top of the paper and an impression is made. The pupil then takes home the mosaic painting. The workshop develops mathematical thinking, creativity and spatial perception.

LEGO GEOMETRY (Grades 3-6)

A fun activity that will develop collaboration skills, communication and patience. Students divide into two groups – one receives Lego bricks and the other receives instructions with a picture of the model. Located in different rooms and communicating only by walkie-talkie, the team tries to assemble the model accurately and as quickly as possible. The workshop develops collaboration, precise oral communication, spatial thinking and problem-solving skills, making links between design, technology, maths and language, making it an ideal learning excursion

LEGO AND VICTORINE (Grades 1-3)

At the beginning of the lesson, students compete against each other by playing a jigsaw quiz in teams. In the second part, they individually build different Lego Education models. The programme is suitable for improving the ability of classmates to work in teams and individually.

PRICES – 7,00€ per student

Fairy Tale Forest (5-6 years)

At the beginning of the lesson, children take part in an active attention training game. In the main part, patience and fine motor skills are trained by building Lego models individually. At the end we play a pasta game to relax and get a dose of laughter. Depending on the situation, additional activities can be added to the programme to keep the children’s attention.

PRICES – 5,00€ per child

IMPORTANT

We invite groups of up to 25 pupils to visit us, and we offer trips to your school or kindergarten to give a masterclass at a children’s party or event (extra travel costs).
