ABOUT US
We invite you to an exciting tour of our apiary, which is located in the ornithological reserve. Our apiary is not only a place where delicious honey and other beekeeping products are produced, but also a unique corner of nature where you can relax.
OFFER
Excursion programme (duration approx. 2 hours):
- Welcome: we will meet you and take you to the apiary, where you can learn a lot of interesting information about bees, the structure of the hive, see the differences between the bees, the queen and the drone, and much more.
- Here you can relax and listen to the sounds of the bees and feel the special bee vibe.
The bees live in hives built into the house. The air in the house is particularly healthy for the respiratory system as it is saturated with bee pheromones, the smell of wax and propolis. - Visit the apiary: let’s show you how bees live in a hive. This takes place in the apiary in the presence of the beekeeper.
Special suits and masks are provided for the safety of visitors.
A story over the honey extraction process:
- The whole group goes to the farm buildings, where we demonstrate the pumping equipment, packaging, filtering and how our products are packaged and labelled.
Tasting of apiary products:
- After the tour, everyone is invited to drink tea and taste our apiary products in the open air at tables. You can also buy our products – honey, pollen, bee bread, propolis tincture, wound healing ointment, various honey mixes.
Safety: in case of a bee sting, medical services are available on site.
Booking: You can book a tour by phone or email.
PRICES
We try to make our tours accessible to everyone, so the cost is moderate and depends on the number of people in the group. ~4 euro per person.

IMPORTANT
A few rules that we recommend you to follow in order to ensure a smooth holiday and a smooth work experience.
Honey bees are peaceful insects by nature. No bee busy in the garden collecting nectar or pollen will touch a person, no matter how close they get to it. She is too busy to pay attention to you. If she senses danger, she would rather fly away than attack. But near the nest, the bee’s behaviour changes. Any creature near the hive, in the bees’ flight path, is perceived by them as a threat to their colony. And bees defend their property without sparing their own lives.
For this reason, we ask you to observe the following rules during the excursion:
1) Odours that are foreign to bees (sweat, tobacco, alcohol, cologne, etc.) should be avoided;
2) Wear closed clothing, preferably light-coloured;
3) It is forbidden to run around the apiary area or to physically interfere with the hives or the hive racks;
4) If you have allergic reactions to apitoxin (bee venom), pollen or other beekeeping products, inform the tour organiser and/or the apiary staff;
5) Strictly observe the rules of order and follow all instructions of the guide and/or apiary staff without question;
6) During the excursion it is strictly forbidden to smoke (cigarettes, vapes, I Cos, pipes, etc.), drink alcoholic beverages, other beverages from open containers, eat sweets – especially fruit and berries;
7) There is a toilet (classic rustic design) on the farm – please use it if necessary.
