Everyone loves the fresh smell of pine, but have you ever experienced the powerful aroma of juniper berries? Juniper Valley on the shores of Kaunas Lagoon covers almost 5 hectares and is one of the largest juniper groves in central Lithuania. The 5 km long trail offers spectacular views of the Nemunas River, the surrounding mountains and the Kaunas Lagoon reservoir.

Part of the trail resembles a mountain bridge, while other sections wind through forest paths. It is suitable for people with reduced mobility and ideal for families with pushchairs. In addition to their charm, junipers in the valley release antimicrobial substances that purify the air, providing health benefits to all who come to walk here. 2016. in 2007, the trail was voted the most beautiful nature trail in Lithuania. The trail takes about 30-40 minutes to walk and is easily accessible by car – there is a convenient car park at the trailhead.
