Dive into the world above the trees on the “Medžių laju” trail or Treetop Walking Trail, the first adventure of its kind in the Baltics. Opened in 2015, this 300-metre-long walking trail gradually rises 21 metres above the ground, offering a bird’s-eye view of the famous Anīkščiai Forest. The path winds through the treetops and as the valley deepens, the distance to the ground increases, creating an exciting sensation. At the end of the walk, a 36-metre-high watchtower decorated with local folk motifs awaits. From a height of 34 metres, you can admire the twists and turns of the Šventoji River and the towers of St Matthew’s Church. These attractions inspired one of Lithuania’s most famous poets, so they can inspire your creativity too!
