Dzūkija National Park has the 14 km long Zackagiris Nature Trail, which features the most fascinating places in Dzūkija. The trail starts near the visitor centre and winds around Marcinkoni, offering attractions such as Šaudzyklos Mountain, the Gruda River and Marcinkoni Church. Visitors can choose the full route or shorter sections of 7 km or 10.5 km. The bravest will encounter sand dunes, learn why the lake is called “Bear’s Ass” and reach the heart of the forest.
