Workshops for families and schoolchildren

The ceramics workshop Cepļi invites you to a making class. Small and big, young and not so young, everyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the sounds of nature. To feel the submissiveness of the clay walrus, to hear and see your own power to be creators. Working with clay develops one’s sensory perception of the world, which is especially important for pre-school children. Awareness of creative abilities and talents encourages to be active and effective in every situation of life.

In 1-2 hours you can enjoy a pleasant relaxation with the purr of cosy cats, take on the role of a potter, create a practical and useful clay bowl or morning tea mug (approx. 0.3-0.4 L) which, depending on the type of clay (brown/white), are fired in about 1-2 months. They must be returned later or can be sent by Omniva mail for an additional fee (10 EUR).
The classes are open to individuals, families and friends, school groups and work teams.
