The wooden tower has 6 floors or levels and the height of the top viewing platform is 16 metres.

During bird migration, this is a significant concentration and resting place for migratory birds. The best time for birdwatching is mid-April and early October.

Next to the birdwatching tower there is a nature trail and a free car park.
