Do any of you remember those boring excursions as a child – rushing from one attraction to the next, getting confused by the year numbers and never quite understanding what was what? We remember, so keeping in mind what to avoid, we have created an orienteering route – On foot around Salacgrīva – where you will not only have to see the most important sights of the city in a fun mood, but ingeniously find the answer to carefully prepared questions in each of them. Be warned – you will have to use your mathematical and creative skills as well as your physical strength in moderation!

The orienteering map is designed to make your trip more interesting and engaging not only for adults, but also for children. If your child is not usually enthusiastic about going on excursions, trust us – orienteering will appeal to them. The benefit of this type of excursion is definitely independence – you are in control of your own pace and preferences, deciding where to stop and what to see – even a picnic by the seashore before visiting the next attraction.
