The soul lost during the Great Northern War has returned to the medieval castle of Aluksne – the adventure of sound and light “The Eighth Brother of MARIENBURG”, the story of the eighth tower, the eighth brother, the eighth hero. “MARIENBURG’S EIGHTH BROTHER is a collaboration of outstanding specialists. Playwright Lauris Gundars, composers and music producers Sigvards Kļava, Mārtiņš Brauns, Artūrs Maskats, lyricist Ojārs Vācietis and design studio H2E created and the Latvian Radio Choir sang a tale about how the eighth tower remembers everything – everything since the birth of Marienburg Castle, from the birth of Mary’s world to today, to us! The tale is a story about the most important thing – the desire and the right to be true, about the love that never ends.
