The Gulbene – Alūksne Banītis is the only regularly running narrow-gauge train in the Baltics. The multimedia exhibition “Alūksne Bānīš Station” invites you to discover the facts of railway history, hear the unique stories of 10 stations and see who has been a friend, helper, workplace and source of inspiration.

Alūksne Bānīš Station is a place where learning is cool and interesting!

A visit to the station can be part of the learning process, with themed activities for age groups:

• Learn about the unique industrial heritage;
• Take part in an interactive excursion;
• Test your erudition;
• Take on the role of an engine driver;
• Get acquainted with historical railway objects.
