day of the adventure 🌲 Description of the adventure

We will start our adventure at the starting point in Jaunarajiai, from where we will go on a scenic hike along the forest path along the banks of the Abul River. Part of the hike will take you along the Baltic Forest Trail.

The hike will be about 5 km long and will end at the Brenguļi Brewery, where we will enjoy a warm and delicious lunch.

Afterwards, we will go to the equipment to enjoy rides as a team through Abūla – with its curves, rapids and natural obstacles.

In the evening:

• warm soup by the campfire;
• stargazing in the hot tub;
• sauna and relax by the fire;
• overnight in a warm camping cabin in the forest.

On the second day we will test our skills in the famous Goat Rapids. Lunch in the centre of Valmiera at the end of the adventure.

Exciting rapids, unique nature and great company make this adventure special. (The rapids can also be bypassed along the shore.)

For the brave: a chance to take part in a masterclass on how to safely negotiate the rapids, recognise the currents and help others on the water.

The SUP and boat adventure Expedition in Ķemeri Bog is always special, because the mood and the views of the bog make you catch your breath in any weather and at any time of the day. We have seen countless sunsets and many beautiful sunrises in the marsh, so this time we will go on a little marsh expedition during the day and to places we have never been before.

We will explore the labyrinths of the marsh, explore its nooks and crannies, and study the plants and inhabitants of the marsh.

We know that nothing is more important than a good rest in an untamed corner of nature! The marsh is the right place to relax and recharge positive emotions, renewing your energy.

The offer is valid all year round ( when the water bodies are not frozen).

Once you park your car in the car park, walk along the gravel road (about 1.5 km – 15 min walk) through the peat quarries and milling fields on the north-eastern edge of the Great Ķemeri Moor to the starting point of our adventure. Along the way, we can see interesting landscapes with dark bog lakes and large water decks with dead trees.

🚆 Public transport

Train Riga-Tukums, get off at “Kūdra” station and then hike about 1,5h to the starting point.
