The ‘Bird Garden’ visitor farm is a place where nature becomes your teacher, and encounters with animals turn into an unforgettable adventure.
The Bird Garden is home to curious hens and colourful roosters, charming turkeys, friendly rabbits and other animals. Visitors can not only observe the animals, but also learn about their habits and behaviour, ask questions and discover many interesting facts about the world of birds.
The Bird Garden creates an environment where knowledge, nature and togetherness come together in an inspiring experience that lingers in the memory long after the visit.
📚 Educational and hands-on workshops
Workshops take place from 1 May to 30 September.
The Bird Garden offers educational and hands-on workshops for children and adults. During the sessions, participants do not just listen, but also get involved, explore, experiment, create and draw their own conclusions.
The workshops are based on the belief that the most valuable knowledge comes through personal experience and hands-on activities.
🦖 Workshop: ‘From Dinosaur to Domestic Fowl’
Are chickens really the descendants of dinosaurs? How did birds become part of our everyday lives?
During the session, participants learn about the evolution of birds through hands-on activities, compare the characteristics of different birds and discover surprising links between the past and the present.
The session:
- stimulates curiosity;
- develops observation skills;
- allows participants to view science through practical experience;
- helps to better understand the origins, characteristics and behaviour of birds.

- Minimum group size: 5 people.
- Maximum group size: up to 25 people.

- Bird garden tour – 5.00 EUR per person.
- Class fee – 10.00 EUR per person. Classes run from 1 May to 30 September.
