ABOUT US
The Civil Protection Museum is located in the former underground bomb shelter of the Northern District Command Post, which was set up to manage the district in emergencies. It has been carefully restored and is open to the public.
The museum’s exhibition offers a glimpse into one of the most turbulent periods in history. Visitors can see authentic workrooms, communication hubs and independent supply systems. The exhibition includes various artefacts from the period
- protective equipment,
- radio equipment and communication nodes,
- historical documents and maps,
- other unique items.
OFFER
The museum tour is accompanied by a guide. Available languages – Latvian, English and Russian.
Duration of the tour: approximately 45-60 minutes.
There are no age restrictions – the museum will be interesting for both children and adults.
We are open for cooperation and additional services are individually agreed with the client.
PRICES
Children up to 7 years – EUR 5 per person.
Minimum group size – 15 children
Duration – 45-60 minutes.
Students from 7 to 15 years – EUR 7 per person.
Minimum group size 15 pupils
Duration – 45-60 minutes.
For young people aged 16 and over – EUR 10 per person.
Duration – 45-60 minutes.
Free admission for two accompanying persons.
For each additional adult – 10 EUR (prices include an excursion and available additional services).
ADDITIONAL OFFERS
Tea, coffee and small snacks can be ordered in the bunker.
An outdoor picnic area is available on the museum grounds.
These services are arranged individually on request.
IMPORTANT
The size and layout of the rooms do not comfortably accommodate more than 15-20 people at a time.
It is recommended to split larger groups into two separate excursions.
The tour takes place in the authentic rooms. They are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
