ABOUT US
The International School of Innovation is an educational institution founded in 2016 that promotes technical education, robotics and programming among children and young people. Through hands-on activities, pupils develop logical thinking, algorithmic thinking, problem-solving skills and an interest in technology.
Schools are also offered educational programmes included in the State Education Development Agency’s (VIAA) STEM activities catalogue, which are implemented in educational institutions throughout Latvia.
📚 Offer for schools
All lessons are based on hands-on activities, experiments and teamwork. Pupils programme robots, solve tasks, create algorithms and explore the world of technology in an engaging way.
Creating a cyclic algorithm – operating a robot
Target audience: Pupils in Years 1–3.
Pupils learn the principles of algorithm creation, how to use loops, programme robots and analyse results, thereby developing logical thinking and collaboration skills.
City of Sensors – the robot’s safe route
Target audience: pupils in Years 1–3.
In this lesson, pupils learn how sensors work, programme robots, create algorithms and understand how various automated systems function in everyday life.
Creating a Simple Linear Algorithm – The Robot Challenge
Target audience: Pupils in Years 1–3.
Pupils learn the basics of algorithmic thinking step by step, create linear algorithms and test how they work in practice by programming robots.
📚 OFFER for pre-schools
Exploring the positioning of objects in a room
Target audience: pre-school children.
During the session, children develop spatial thinking, spatial and planar orientation, mathematical language and problem-solving skills using the programmable robot Cubetto.
Conflict resolution theatre in pre-school
Target audience: pre-school children.
Through the use of theatrical elements, children learn to recognise emotions, cooperate and find respectful solutions to everyday conflict situations.
