The Ķemeri Water Tower is located in the historic Ķemeri Resort Park. The 42-metre-high tower was built in 1929 and is part of Latvia’s industrial heritage. After reconstruction, the tower was opened to the public in 2021. Now a functioning hydro-technical structure, it houses exhibitions on the history of Ķemeri and notable personalities. The tower also has two viewing platforms at different heights.

The tower is open to the public from May to October every day from 10.00 to 18.00. Admission is free. Guided tours of the Ķemeri Resort Park at any time of the year can be booked for an additional fee by calling +371 29126551.

The upper open viewing platform at 42 metres is by reservation only.

Rules for the upper viewing platform:

    The viewing platform
  • is on the roof of the tower at 42 metres;

  • There is no lift in the tower.

– The

  • maximum time on the viewing platform is 10 minutes;

  • If you are late, your visit to the viewing platform is not guaranteed;

  • Children under 14 years of age may only visit the viewing platform accompanied by an adult;

  • Visits to the viewing platform may be limited depending on weather conditions;

  • Visitors are fully responsible for their own safety while visiting the tower.
