ABOUT US

The “Rabbit Kingdom” recreational nature park is located in the picturesque Ogre River valley, in the territory of the nature park. The total area of the recreation centre is 47 hectares, the property belongs to the charity organisation “Blue Cross”, which helps people in crisis. “Rabbit Kingdom is home to rabbits of all colours and sizes. They have made the kingdom their home – building burrows, raising families. Rabbits live in beautifully designed castles and manor houses that blend in well with their surroundings, evoking a fairytale forest. Visitors are given a treat to treat the animals with. Besides rabbits, the kingdom is also home to sociable goats, geese and colourful dwarfs and ponies.

The “Rabbit Kingdom” recreational nature park is an ideal place to organise various events – children’s birthday parties, recreational events for groups, summer camps for children, Christian summer camps, sports games, various celebrations.

Accommodation options are offered: in a guest house – a renovated historical farmstead, in camping cabins or tent pitches. The campsite is situated in a beautiful location on the banks of the Ogre River, with a footbridge along the river, a gazebo, a separate fireplace, a shelter with a barbecue, a pond. There is a lawn for tents. Parking is possible on site.

We can accommodate up to 120 persons in the guest house and the camping cottages. The number of rooms varies from 3 to 6. You can park your car on the farm next to the guest house.

• New in the Rabbit Kingdom – the barefoot trail “Cerība” – a 2.6 km long nature trail where guests can walk barefoot on different textures of sand, reeds, gravel, pebbles, cobbles and cones.

ADDITIONAL OFFER

• Souvenirs, playground, trampolines, inflatable attractions available.
• Room rental – for appropriate events, guests can use the chapel and dining hall with summer terrace.
• Accommodation –9 quadruple camping cottages connected by footbridges. (Bed linen and towels are provided. There are shared toilets, showers, a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, fridge, microwave and kettle.
• The campsite and guest house are open from May to October inclusive. During the colder months, the rooms in the guest house can be heated. Catering can be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner by prior arrangement.

Accommodation atthe campsite and/or guest house:

• One bed – € 6 per day (bring your own bed linen).
• Meals 3x a day – € 7.
