Skrīveru Pārtikas Kombināts was the first company in Latvia to start production of the popular Skrīveru Gotiņa in 1957. Each candy is masterfully handmade, using only the finest raw materials in the production process! This is confirmed by the cultural label “Latviskais mantojums”, which was awarded to Skrīveru Food Combine at the end of 2015. It is awarded to entrepreneurs who preserve and promote Latvian cultural heritage by showing it to visitors.

It is one thing to hear and read about it, but quite another to experience and see for yourself how the much-loved Skrīveri Gotiņas are made! We therefore invite families, groups of schoolchildren or anyone with a sweet tooth to a delicious and educational tour of the oldest Gotiņa factory in Northern Europe – the Skrīveri Food Combine! A visit to our factory is a great opportunity to feel the breath of history and the taste of childhood in the place where Gotiņa candies have been made for sixty-seven years!
