The MP’s Bench (2016) by Raimonds Vindulis, symbolically reflects the specifics of the work of the people’s servants. From a distance, the bench, like the office of a deputy, seems very pleasant – beautiful and comfortable, but it is rather uncomfortable to sit on (large metal pegs are embedded in the bench). Initially, being an MEP seems easy and comfortable to many. But those who have experienced it first-hand know that it is often necessary to answer uncomfortable questions, take criticism, take responsibility, etc. The design object is made of metal and glass. Located in front of the Livani Municipality building, 77 Rīgas iela.

Spararatus (2014) by Valērijs Konstantinov, at the intersection of Raiņa and Rīgas iela, symbolises an old-fashioned, metal-forged ride, which can be easily boarded by both adults and children.

School Bench (2016) by Ivo Folkmanis, installed in the square in front of Livani Secondary School No.1 at 126 Rīgas Street.

Reconciliation bench (2013) – by Valērijs Konstantinovs, reconciles lovers and disputants, installed in the library square, 136 Rīgas iela. Due to the slanted seating surface, the sitters slip together, thus reconciliation is possible faster.

Sauna log (2016) – by SIA “A2C”, located in one of the greenest squares of the city, 163 Rīgas iela, next to the former sauna building. The sauna tub can seat 3-4 people at a time.

Open-air living room (2015) by Ieva Maķena and Valters Stūris is special because of its location (at the end of Vecticībnieku Street, next to Līvāni 1 Secondary School). It is the highest point in the city, offering a beautiful view of the central part of the city and the bay of the Dubna River. The hill was built in the 17th century. The first Catholic wooden church in Livani was located on this hill in the 17th century, as evidenced by the ancient oak alley. The environmental object was created for people’s outdoor recreation. It consists of a polished concrete table, a sofa, chairs, a floor lamp, a “TV” frame, which serves as a frame for the view of the Dubna River. As two world-class high-tech fibre optics companies operate in Livani, the table top is embedded with optical fibre that glows in the dark, creating a peculiar effect.
