The Oidrem and Tuhu marshes are among the largest marshes in Western Estonia, only 10 km from the sea, and are considered to be young marshes in terms of their stage of development. The marsh in the eastern part is called the Tuhu low marsh and the marsh in the western part is called the Tuudi high marsh. There have been attempts to drain the marsh in the post-war period, but fortunately most of it has remained untouched by human activity.

Good to know: The walking trail is about 900m of boardwalk, 1 hour walking time, it is recommended to bring rubber boots.
