The fountain is located at the Knights’ Mound.
On 27 November 2019, the fountain got a new look, accentuating the symbolism of Kandava. The fountain’s rim is decorated with oak leaves, while the focus is on a sculpture of an acorn, whose splendour is enhanced by lighting of different hues.

The fountain was created by Gunārs Platpīrs.

The object was created thanks to funding from the Kandava Municipality.
