Excursion with the electric train “Discover and get to know Gulbene!” is a great way to see the most beautiful places of Gulbene while listening to the driver-guide talk about the city.

The electric train starts its journey at Gulbene railway station and during the journey you can get to know the two historical centres of the city – Gulbene railway junction and the surroundings of Vecgulbene Manor, as well as the modern city centre. Participants have the opportunity to see the most beautiful places in the city, see how the ancient and the modern intertwine, learn how Gulbene has grown and developed, and discover what Gulbenians are proud of.

Train route. Kalpaka Street – Skolas Street – through Spārīte Park – Blaumana Street – Rīgas Street – Dzilnas Street – Parka Street – Pils Park – Pils Street – Pils Park – O. Kalpaka Street – Ozolu Street – Rīgas Street – Dzelzceļa Street – Educational and Interactive Centre “Dzelzceļš un Tvaiks” (Dzelzceļa Street 8).
