Jūrkalne – one of the most picturesque coastlines of the Baltic Sea in Latvia with a spectacular 20 m high sea cliff.

Jūrkalne beach is beautifully overlooked from a viewing platform shaped like a boat, but its real appeal is to be enjoyed on the seashore. Did you know that in Jūrkalne you can enjoy two sunsets in one evening? One – standing on the seashore, and the other – looking out from the steep embankment.

Here you will find a memorial sign for World War II refugees to Sweden “Sail of Hope” and an ancient wooden bridge over the Riva River, a fire meadow with a nature trail, the Aldara Stone and a memorial ensemble to the Feliksberg Maritime School by sculptor Ģirts Burvis.
