The Jērcēnmuižas complex and park were built in the 19th century. It was established in the middle of the 19th century. It consists of the manor house of the “Freileens”, built by Baron Adalbert von Kridener for his unmarried sisters, the manor barn and the manor stable. “The interior of the Freilein house has several features that reflect the luxurious life of the White German nobility: a pot-bellied fireplace, four pot-bellied stoves, wooden ceilings, doorways, staircases, etc.
The Jērcēnmuiža complex is surrounded by the Jaunjērcēņi Park with its variety of tree species, rare plants and birds.
To see the interior of the manor house and hear the guide’s narration, the visit must be booked in advance.
