LVM Strenči Nursery is one of the world’s most advanced nurseries in the field of nursery technology. It features both an automatic sowing line and the first automated packing line in the Baltics, which packs more than 300,000 forest seedlings per day. The nursery has 13 state-of-the-art greenhouses with a total area of more than 25,000 square metres, where more than 10 million seedlings are frozen and stored in the nursery’s large freezers. Special label printers and stacking robots are also on display, labelling and stacking boxes of seedlings on pallets over five floors, as well as wrapping the finished products.
