The Caramel Workshop Masterclass is a combination of visual art, participation and learning about the business environment. This masterclass combines information on both professions and art as a form of business – handmade caramels are both a source of income and a creative process.

PROPOSAL

To introduce Latvian schoolchildren to a creative Latvian company that presents its activities with an exciting caramel making demonstration and organises a creative professional art workshop.

The 1h demonstration includes:

• Making caramel paste by combining all the ingredients.
• The addition of colours, mixing, obtaining different shades, which takes place not only in the process of mixing the colours but also in the process of stretching the caramel, are visually demonstrated.
• The construction of different drawings, logos and other images on the caramel roll.
• Crushing and stretching the caramel roll, keeping the image inside, then splitting the caramel
• A workshop where students can make their own caramel on a stick, participate and get creative.
• Tasting.

PRICE

Price for groups of more than 10 persons – 5.00 EUR per person.

One accompanying person per 10 students – free of charge.
