The Līču – Laņģu cliffs are a sandstone cliff about a kilometre long on the left bank of the Gauja valley. It is not visible from the river, but it is very close. The maximum height of the cliff is about 30m. There is a 7 km long comfortable walking trail around the cliffs.

Around 20 springs flow from the Līči-Laņģu cliffs, which have created caves of different lengths and niches of different sizes. The large Laņģu cave, located in the southern part of the cliffs, is the longest (48 m) and has a strong spring. 50 m north of this cave is the Middle Hinge Cave (30 m in total length) and another 50 m further north is the Small Hinge Cave (4.2 m). In the northern part of the Līči-Lāņģu rocks there was a larger cave formed by a strong spring, the front part of which, after the ceiling collapsed, turned into a peculiar gorge with steep walls 8 m high. A peculiar cave with three passages has formed on the side of the gorge. In total, there are eight large springs and nine caves and niches in the Līču-Laņģu cliffs.

The Līču-Laņģu cliffs are a protected geological natural monument, located in the Gauja National Park.
