The interactive exhibition of the Museum of Happiness invites everyone to act, feel and think, to look to the future and not to the past. The aim of the museum is not to answer the question “What is happiness?”, but to stimulate positive emotions in people, to let themselves be impressed, to create, to inspire and to search for everyone’s own answer to this question. To show the diversity of the feeling of happiness.

The Museum offers an interactive entertainment and educational programme “The Happiness Formula”. It is not only about happiness, but also about influencing your body and your impressions through different methods and techniques to increase the level of happiness hormones. The museum offers tasting, drawing, amulet making, working, breaking dishes “for happiness”.

The museum regularly hosts exhibitions of contemporary Latvian artists. Viewing artworks is included in the visit programme. Duration of the programme: 1 hour.

A new programme is also offered to visitors of the Museum of Happiness – “My Grandmother’s Dish Cupboard” (Krāslavas iela 3, Indrā). During the tour, visitors will get acquainted with a unique collection of Riga porcelain tableware – more than 1000 items.

For people with visual impairments

TheMuseum of Happiness in Indra has created a special exhibition “Invisible Happiness”. During the visit to the exhibition, visually impaired visitors can independently learn about the history of the museum and the paths to happiness that are offered, with the help of an audio guide, as well as creatively work on making souvenirs.

The museum is also equipped with a tactile map, which makes it easier and more comfortable for visually impaired people to find their way around.
