ABOUT US
The Museum of Living Silver was established in Limbaži in 2012. The museum was created by jeweller, artist and philosopher Oļegs Auzers, who exhibits his large-scale sculptural compositions created over more than 40 years of work.
Among the masterpieces in the collection is the largest castle in silver in the world, which will take your breath away and for a moment transport you to a magical world where peace and harmony reign. His works of art tell the story of a world where envy and greed live side by side with self-sacrifice and altruism, where love alternates with hate, where life conquers death.
The Queen of England, the Emperor of Japan and other world leaders feast their eyes on the artist’s works every day. Fortunately, one of these impressive works – the majestic sailing ship “The Wandering Dutchman”, which was made as a gift for the King of Spain, is available for your viewing at the Museum of Living Silver.
