On 9 September 2017, as part of the “Bauska Old Town Courtyards and Porridge Celebration”, the town was presented with a magnificent gift – colourful rose decorations were placed on the “old” walls of wooden and stone houses in the Old Town of Bauska. As Latvia’s centenary approaches, the association “Meistars Gothards” implemented the project “Let’s Blossom Together!”. During the project, the residents of Bauska municipality were involved in creative activities, and a total of several dozen square metres of rose decorations were embroidered. The project was financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and Zemgale NGO Centre, and implemented by the association “Meistars Gothards”.
