The owners, Ian and Joanna, are an English couple who have been living in the Latvian countryside for several years and are happy to show off their cherished alpacas and share useful tips on breeding, shearing, etc. Ian also writes a blog where he describes how the alpacas are doing each month. The owners have given each animal a name and know the character and qualities of each one.

Alpacas are very beautiful animals – gentle, friendly and very curious – native to South America. The owners will share the story of how they got their alpacas, as well as some interesting stories about how they got started.

Alpacas produce soft, high quality, warm and exquisite wool in a wide range of colours. Alpaca shearing takes place on the farm in May. May and June is also the time when newborn alpacas join the herd. If you visit at this time, you will see the babies.
