🌿 About the Rāzna National Park Nature Centre
The Rāzna National Park Nature Centre offers schoolchildren and other visitors the chance to discover the most significant natural treasures in Latvia’s newest national park, as well as to learn about issues relating to their conservation and protection.
During a visit, you can explore Lake Rāzna, enjoy the diverse landscape of the Latgale Uplands, and discover the world of forests and meadows. In STEM sessions, the natural environment becomes a practical classroom where pupils have the opportunity to build on the knowledge gained at school by studying natural processes, living organisms, their habitats and interrelationships, whilst also learning about the importance of preserving biodiversity.
The sessions help to link theoretical knowledge with practical nature exploration and foster pupils’ interest in the natural sciences and in exploring their surrounding environment.
