Lielais Liepu Hill (289.3 m) is the highest peak in Latgale and the third highest in Latvia.

The highest wooden observation tower in Latvia (34 m) has been built at the top of Lielais Liepu Hill, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, Lake Rāzna and other lakes.

The 830 m-long Lielais Liepu Hill Trail with information stands, resting places and swings leads visitors from the parking lot to the observation tower. A place for relaxation or small events with a paved fireplace, benches and a stage. The adjacent Dzerkaļi Hill (286.3 m) is the highest peak in Latvia in relative height (89.2 m).
